| Just traded my 2009 Ultra Classic for a 2015 Cross Country. I seem to have been on this site before but for the life of me I don't remember.
I've been riding street bikes since I believe 1985 and haven't been without one since. I bought a used Vegas in 2011 with 6000 miles on it now it has 45,000+ and that convinced me Victory builds a tough very well made machine. Trading the Ultra means I now don't own a Harley for the first time in 29 years.
So far with the Cross Country I did the 1 1/8" hole saw to each muffler and two 3/8" drilled holes to the back plate. I disconnected the 02 sensors and have a Lloydz hi flow air cleaner and a VFC III on the way. I like the sound a lot and for now don't plan on changing it. I do plan I having the bike dyno'ed after it has 5000 miles on it. I bought it on 7/11/2015 and it just turned 1000 miles. I completed the 500 mile service last weekend and found a loose exhaust nut, a loose floorboard bolt and one missing and one 1/2 way backed out chin spoiler top screws.
There you have it my introduction to cross riders. I hope to learn and hopefully share. |

It sounds like you might be one who enjoys good performance. You will be happy to know that a 30 HP (at the rear wheel) increase over stock on that bike is easy and fairly inexpensive. Just add Lloydz VM1-DR cams to what you have already done and get it tuned. Stock, you had about 80 to 85 rear wheel HP. With the mods you already listed, and the cams, you would be at about 110 to 115. To get all that the cams offer, have your ECU reflashed by Lloydz. That will raise your rev-limiter to 6400 in all 6 gears, eliminate your top speed limiter (it's now set at 120 MPH), and give you an optimized fuel and timing curve. Works great with the VFCIII. Stock reliability and gas mileage is unaffected.
If you follow that recipe, and shift gears at 6000 RPM when you are intent on showing off your taillights, you will be showing your taillights to most touring bikes, including the 1800 Goldwings, in drag-races, in roll-on or passing power contests, and on the top end.
With that recipe, you can expect to be nearly a half second quicker than a Goldwing in a dragrace, and be going 4 to 5 MPH faster than the GW at the end of the quarter mile. Your top speed will be higher than the GW, if you care. Passing power will be a little stronger than the GW too.

| Sounds like future fun to me.
Installed my VFC and Hi-Flow air filter and Danny from Lloydz included numbers for my setup.
1 1/8" hole saw to the baffle block off plate, two 3/8 holes in the end plate

I have some observations.
My commute to and from work is almost exactly the same every day.
1.
Days like today 105+ the bike ran a consistent 250 now it runs a consistent 240 so the oil temp is 10 degrees cooler not a big difference but a difference.
2.
The throttle response is much improved.
3.
While riding in heavy traffic where you're in 2nd or 3rd gear and the rpm's are around 2500-3000 the bike would ever so slightly surge almost unnoticeable but now that's completely gone so it must have been lean at the rpm and throttle position. |

New Orleans, La, | Welcome, I'm surprised no one suggested you add the 1/4 turn throttle ring. It's cheap, easy to install, and enhances driveability. It doesn't add anymore power, it just gives you more immediate access to what poser you have.IJS. |

| I added a second set of brake lights to the running lights and brake lights I already had. The new brake lights are at the top the other brake lights are above the running lights.

| Had the Dyno run and ended up peak numbers 93hp 107tq. Overall cruise, moderate acceleration are all greatly improved. |
