Posts: 196 Asheville, NC | I responded to an ad on this site for a " modification part" and paid via PayPal and did the transaction as friend/family. Unfortunately, we are not friends or family here apparently. The part was not as advertised, the seller refuses to respond to my messages and I can't contest the sale via PayPal because of the way I entered it. Now I have something I can't use and lost $50 plus in the process. Lesson learned.
BUYERS BEWARE

| Sorry that happened. I almost did a deal with Turbobuick a few years ago. But due to his attitude and no work-with-ability I went elsewhere. Sorry he got you. Let be know. Don't deal with turbobuick friends

Posts: 1290 Ruskin, Fl | Surprised to hear that about Fred AKA Turbobuick. I've ridden with him a few times and I didn't get that impression. He even offered me a re flashed ECM to try. And yes, there are tons of scam artists on the web. |

Posts: 161 Tampa, Fl United States | Excuse me? What rock did you crawl out from under?
I've sold/purchased a lot of parts new and used ( not making a profit) and never had a problem.
If I remembered correctly ( correct if I'm wrong) you purchased a Lloydz's re-flashed ECM from me & I gave you all the correct info prior to your purchase and after a sufficient amount of time went by you had buyer's remorse!
And if I remember correctly I either refunded your monies (minus shipping charges or something to that effect)
But I certainly did not scam you!
I don't have a problem airing out dirty laundry (especially when it's yours.)
Again, if what I stated above is incorrect, by all means correct me, but to make a statement not to buy from me is an issue and I never ripped you off or scammed you. And if you think I did you need to evaluate your communication skills.
Mike, thanks for chiming in with your correct impression that still stands true!

| No we didn't make a deal. Like my post said, we almost did a deal, it would have been for a ECU. I thought better of it like my post said. crawling from a rock was a good one.... You got me there.

Then your insult of "Don't deal with turbobuick friends " had nothing to do with the original post and I did nothing to you (in other words we didn't have a transaction)
And your almost did a deal didn't deserve your immature slander. Immaturity will get you in trouble |
