Posts: 13 Batavia, IL | Was at my dealer today and they told me there is finally a recall on our front fenders. They have a bracket to add to them now.

Posts: 119 CASTRO VALLEY, CA United States | It's not quite a recall, but a Technical Service Bulletin for dealers to perform a Front Fender Inspection and either install fender brackets, replace fender, or both.
Thanks to those Vision pilots who pursued this issue all the way to the NHTSA! |

Posts: 324 New Orleans, La, | Good to know but to late for me cause I had 2 front halves crack at the bolt holes and replaced it with a HMD520 glass fender. Its' been on the bike at least 3 years now without a failure. I'm satisfied with the replacement but I sure would like my original back on with the fix though. IJS. |

| Just got the letter today from Victor for 2008-2015 Visions. Their "campaign" expires on June 24, 2017.
Took them long enough to address the issue. Kit has to be installed at a Victory dealership.

| Pops - 2015-07-06 4:45 PM Got my letter today. Shouldn't this thread be in the Vision forum? I think it is appropriate for the Victory forum since it took Victory 7 years to respond to a potentially lethal issue experienced and reported by many of Victory's customers. Just my 2 cents.

Not that it is a big deal, but the post is in the Victory general discussion forum. When you log in under vision-riders you see all the latest forum activity on the left side. Items posted in Vic General Discussion show up for all the various model forums listed under the home tab. For some reason, some folks get cranky when something non Vision appears on the left side of that page. Just don't post about oil or car tires and you'll be ok. |

Posts: 482 Beer Collins, Colorado (there is no fort) | I choose not to let the dealer mess with my fender-I've had it off multiple times, always examined it very closely, and it has no structural issues going on 60,000 miles. I still have the original kick stand on my '99 that was ruled "defective" and it hasn't killed me yet. If something needs to be done I'll take care of it. |

Still have not got my notice from Victory about the fender replacement.
You won't get a notice either. Just go to your dealer and get the ball rolling. |

Posts: 50 Virginia Beach, VA | They sent out notices. I received mine last year. Just take your VIN to a dealer and they can tell you if yours is covered. Had mine done a couple weeks ago. |

| Had mine done while the bike was in for service. Unfortunately the replaced fender wasn't painted but at least it's on the bike. meh |
