| I have a 2010 Victory Vision Tour motorcycle with just under 30,000 miles accumulated. At the inside and the outside edges of the belt is a bit of fraying with thread starting to show. Have any of you had to replace the drive belt and if so at what mileage? Did you also replace the pulleys? |

It does, along with a host of other things, such as clutch fluid, brake fluid, spark plugs, air filter, and fork oil.
Might be a bit conservative for some of those things.

These belt have been used in the Grain handling and sand and gravel industries for years to run drives. They log thousands of hours without any issues. They are tough. |

I think the greater risk will come from dry rot, starting around the 6 or 7th year of use. At that point you've gotten plenty of use out of, it's time to have some peace of mind. |

| Victory is out of there mind telling us to replace the belt at 30 thousand. $300 for a belt and over two hours labor when there is nothing wrong with it.
To think Harley runs the same belt from the same manufacturer and 1/2" narrower and they say to inspect at 80 thousand
Are we fools for following Victory |
