Posts: 294 rhode island | Everyone seems to really dig the trunkless look, but I really miss the carry capacity.
Had it both ways and the trunk is back on. pros; 4 speaker stereo 2 extra power plugs
plus no air whipping around your back. Cons; 40 pounds of extra weight up high.
handles a little different but not bad. Its to bad we have the only convertable motorcycle
in the world but I can live with it.

Posts: 412 Fargo, ND | My exact sentiments. I took mine off and really like the look and as you say...it's a different bike with the 40 lbs. of 'high weight' removed. My wife did not ride with me when it was removed, but I know she would not be a happy camper. So it will go off / on with regularity. I do have a trailer from previous bikes and am waiting for a reasonably priced hitch to be released for the Vision. At that point when I go solo the trunk will come off and everything will go in the trailer. The bags will be empty for the most part also, except for the usual 'stuff' I carry there. The only way to get the trunk off my Goldwing was with a Chainsaw Regards, |

Posts: 8144 New Bohemia, VA | Well, let me tell you. I bought the Vision Tour and rode with the trunk for almost 11 month. When I went to the Street it was a different bike, but not by much. I really enjoy the bike and it rides like it was designed to do. That is not to say anything negative about the trunk and enjoy the space. I'll be putting it back on soon for the winter time so that I'll have the room for winter gear. The wife enjoys the Street as well with the passenger back rest. This is the best ride out there. |

| My trunk is currently back on the bike but mainly because I use it to commute back and forth to work and need the book storage. I had it street versioned for a couple months and MUCH prefer the handling without the trunk so it will come back off come summer. I have several bags that will mount nicely on the luggage rack for summer trips. |

There is no wrong choice with a Vision, Dean.
Welcome to the club! |

Posts: 244 Fargo, ND | I ordered the accessory wall bracket for the trunk and the backrest & luggage rack when I bought my Tour Premuim. Taking the trunk on and off is fairly simple and doesn't take long, but there is a trick or two. Here is a very simple video of how to do it correctly.
