I have a daughter, 7th grader with a algabra question and I just cant rember how to do it. I know the answer but cant figure out how i got there....LOL...but we have so many smart folks on here

Dood, I'm in the same boat as you... My daughter comes home with the math homework and asks for my help and I'm like.... yeah... lemme see that... wow, it's been a long time.... It just goes downhill from there. It's amazing to me how much sooner (grade wise) that these kids are doing all the hard stuff I can barely remember doing in my senior year of high school, and my daughter is in middle school! I've actually had to relearn some of this stuff on the web and then go back and try to help my daughter. The good news is, there are plenty of good websites out there to help with this kind of stuff... Good luck...

oh!! I know. If two halves make a whole, how deep is the whole? If 2 bits are a quarter, then 8 bits will finish a sandwich. or is this information not what you seek?

Wow! Thanks JAM. I was having problems rationalizing my denominator, but now it's a breeze to do! This forum is becoming a one stop shop. Do you know where I can get modulation for my nomenclature?
