| I have a 2011 Vision. It currently has the Ness Honkers, Both Ness Air Cleaners, PCV w/ Custom Map, and the LLoyds Timing Wheel. I am looking at getting the Idle Air Valve, Touring Cams, and 1/4 Throttle Ring at the Myrtle Beach Rally.
Since my Vision is so smooth and comfortable now, I want to make sure it stays that way after any mods. My concerns are heat (I already have the lower air deflectors), increased vibration, and decel pop/backfire. I've read all the great reviews, but I just want to make sure I know the good and any bad.
Thanks

Posts: 79 Louisville, KY | I did the touring cams on my vision. the valve train noise seems about the same the only difference I noticed is more power.
It takes a good bit of cutting on the cam carriers to get the cams into the cam carriers. the only issue I could see getting the work done at a rally is will they be able to do the amount of cutting needed in a short amount of time. In addition to clearing the carriers the rocker arms need to be cleared as well or there will be interference at the higher lift.
You are also going to need to redo the PC-V map after the cam change. |

| Well coming from the HD world, I was mainly concerned with adding heat and vibration. Seems those are two more problems I am leaving behind with the Freedom 106.

There is heat on a Vision but not to bad. The best money spent on cooling are the lower deflectors. They make the bike more enjoyable to ride in hot or cold conditions, |
