| In theory, yes you should be able to - in fact, if I understand the device correctly, you could theoretically use the "A" channel as ignition on, and the "B" either as an alarm activation or to trigger only the ACC circuit. However, I am a new owner, so someone here with more knowledge of the circuit would be better able to determine details necessary to make it work that I cannot say without a schematic. Some questions I immediately think of in determining how to make it work:
1. Does the remote latch its internal relay, toggling closed or open between presses of the button, or is it momentary? If momentary, you will have to have a latching relay system to keep the ignition circuit energized.
2. This also relates to a question of how the ignition circuit works - does it latch a relay as long as it is energized? If so, then you have to have a way to break the power to turn the ignition off. Once again, if the device does not toggle and latch internally, you will need another relay to break the circuit, possibly having to trigger it by use ot the second channel of the remote.
3. How many circuits are triggered at once by the ignition switch, and of those how many are direct and how many run from a triggered relay? How much total amperage is necessary for that circuit. If for no other reason you may need to have the remote trigger a relay rated for higher amps than the remote is rated for.
Clear as mud, right? As said, I am sure there is a way to make it work, and it is an interesting idea, but someone with more knowledge about the wiring of the bike would need to chime in. Of course, there is the observation of "Cool! A good reason to squeeze some more wiring and gizmos into a Vision!" |

Pittsburgh, PA | i was just wondering. if using this to bypass the keys on your bike. (not using steering lock i guess) would there be a constant be it low, drain on your battery to have this device in a "ready state" ? if so, how long could this be installed by not used before a battery might be to low to start the bike..
also i was wondering if there would be any type of fail safe.. example.. my buddies harley wouldn't allow him to start the bike before the alarm malfunctioned .. could this happen using this device? |

, OH | You could consider a biometric scanner to start the bike. no key would be needed. $300.00. Pretty easy to do.

, OH | then you can mount it to the bottom of the "V" below the power button on the radio like I did. The scanners are really small

| <p>guess I'm just going to run a tago switch under a tank panel. On/off is all I need. Can always pull the key out to lock it</p><p>I must say harley has the answer to this </p>
