| My job just landed me in Italy for 3-4 years. 8-ball is in a box on the high seas, can't wait to put that one on the Autostrada and see the looks I get. Anyone else here now or been in Europe that can recommend routes, rallies or tell a few stories? |

| Where in Italy? So far I thought I had the only Vision here. Every place I stop, Italians come out of the woodwork to look at the Vision. I wonder if they will be as excited over a Vegas? They don't pay too much attention to Harley's.

| My Vision 8 ball is enroute to vicenza within a month, so I guess there will be two of us here for a bit. Really interested in seeing what type of rally s or events they have going on. you ever make it up north? |

| Forgot there is a Vision 8 ball. No, I wish I worked up north, but I'm going to Germany in June.
You are a short ride to the largest bike event in Europe.
Look up faaker see rally.
I have been told it is a lot like rallies in the US minus most of the aholes. |

Glendale, AZ United States | Faaker is popular with the riders in addition to Hitler's Eagle's nest, Germany. Germany has a reputation of having the cleanest and best maintained roads in Europe. Italy and Greece are also popular. Plenty of places to go and things to see. Keep us posted. I know there is a certified Victory Dealer in Prague, Czech Republic. Just as a side note, who did you use to ship the motorcycle and how much did this set you back? Also, I heard motorcycle insurance is much cheaper in Europe. You may want to consider selling your bike over there for the simple fact a new Victory Vision in Prague will set you back about 34K dollars when you do the currency exchange and I am sure this will be the case across Europe. |

| I have read up on the rally in September and plan on making that trip up. Cost to ship, I don't know, the company paid for it. Insurance quote I got thru geico was $1300 a year, so quite a lot higher here in Italy. It was the same for my car, but the coverages here are in the neighborhood of 5 million euro vs. 300,000 in the states.

I told him we could work out a deal in that I wouldn't charge him anything to do the looking around and shipping. In return I would have dibs on the scooter when I plan on going over there next year and the next round of drinks would be on him. Take care... |
