northwest florida | are the riser blocks for the passenger floor boards suppose to have some play in them? After I attached the lower bolts, torqued to the 18 lbs as noted on the instructions, they are loose as in "up and down" play, not side by side. I thought about going to a different size bolt/carriage pin to mount to the tip over bars to lessen the play. Anyone have a problem with the riser blocks? |

| I found that the bolts supplied by Victory to be junk at best. I changed to a chrome M8 bolt with a chrome acorn nut. Did not require any enlargement of the hole and looks better. |

I've not worked toward dressing them up, but thought of getting springed spacers to tighten them up some. |

northwest florida | I found some self-adhesive teflon pads you put on the bottom of flower pots so they don't scratch your furniture. I am going to put them under the risers and also replace the cheap carriage bolt with something stainless. |

Pittsburgh, PA | i installed mine a few weeks ago and they are junk. I mean they work but, they dont act like the floorboards do on the stock mounting setup. i have mine tighted with the floorboards Down. if they are up they wiggle and bounce around. so just now leave them down and tightened them up.

Fargo, ND | You definitely need to replace the undersized installation bolt that with one that fits the original mounting hole correctly. I also noticed the slop when the boards are flipped up. The spring/ball detent hole in the riser block is considerably deeper than on the stock board mount causing the steel ball to not engage in the detent in the board. Solution is either adding another ball under the spring in the riser block or replacing the spring with a longer one so the detent works properly. I informed my dealer how poorly engineered they were. For the price, we shouldn't have to buy longer springs, extra detent balls, or larger bolts to replace the ones provided in order to make them fit properly. |
