Posts: 8144 New Bohemia, VA | If your are just wanting swap out the filters for the higher air flow, I wanted to do the same thing and the dealer said that is not a good idea. The reason is with more air flow in you need it going out too and would also have to remap the system. Even if you didn't do the exhaust you'd still have to do a remap but they don't make one for an in between, more intake, some exhaust. Anyway, the more techy guys can give you a better answer. |

| Banjo, you can run a higher flow filter BUT you will need to richen up the map because the higher flow will lean it out. You won't get as much out of the high flow filter alone as you would if you did filter and pipes, BUT I believe the stock pipes will flow enough to offset the increased intake without stuffing up.
Can I ask WHY you are wanting to go high flow?
Some may not know but there is an additional air intake plate under the dash on the top of the frame. I think Lloyds and Ness offer the high flow setup for that. |
