Posts: 35 El Paso, TX | Hey guys, make sure to check your batteries. The other day I was cleaning my bike and I noticed that there was a little white corrosion on my battery terminals. It was mainly on the red power terminal. I went to the local auto parts store and bought a packet of battery corrosion inhibitor. I unscrewed the terminals and the battery charger lead was fused to the power cable. I pulled it apart and used some steel wool to clean the terminals. I then screwed everything back together and put the inhibitor all over the terminals. It kinda looks like vaseline. Keep in mind that I also noticed that my battery connections were lose at first. MORAL OF THE STORY- CHECK YOUR BATTERIES TO SAVE YOU SOME GRIEF LATTER ON DOWN THE ROAD.
Keep the advice coming. |

Thanks

Yup. Kneel down by the front tire and look in the bottom of the big opening in the fairing. It's sitting right there in the middle. |

I think I will just report this to my Victory service manager..... |
