Birmingham, AL 08 MC Tour Premium 2012 Bronze Mist | For those forum readers/posters in the southeast, I missed Thunderbeach in Panama City this weekend. I did head south out of Birmingham this morning (Sunday) to go to Leesburg, FL. I took US 231 out of Montgomery all the way down to Cottondale (just north of PC). In 4 hours of riding I met hundreds of bikes headed north and actually caught sight of two Visions (one silver, one cherry) around lunchtime. Anybody here? |

Atlanta Area | I saw ya but didn't wave in time! I was on the midnight cherry heading north on 231. I saw only 4 Visions all weekend at Thunder Beach. One of them was a 2009 in blue. Still not liking that color. I am however SUPER pissed about the wheels. They look really nice compared to ours.
Anyway, sorry for not waving faster, my reflexes had been dulled by 3 days of beer drinking! |

northwest florida | I was working at a CMA booth at the hotel. I saw 5 visions ( 2 streets and 3 tour ) ride by...not counting my blue one in the parking lot. |

Atlanta Area | Then I guess it was your blue one I saw at the hotel. You were pulling in and parking it on Saturday morning and said something like "I got mine!"... I was on a cherry tour premium.
If I would have had the proper tools and no witnesses your scooter would have been sitting on blocks when you got back to it!!
I'm not super impressed with the chrome forks as they only seemed to smooth part of them and left the rest rough cast (kinda like the instrument cluster bezel finish)... but the wheels I really liked. Worst case, I may yank mine and send them to the chromers this winter. |
