Posts: 87 Lusby,Md | Dunlops I get about 10,000 miles and Metezlers I get about 15,000 miles out of them.A rule of thumb,I use a penny as a guide, if the tread does not cover the Prezs head I change the tires.Thats the way I look at it.

Posts: 296 Central Florida | replacing my rear tire with #3 this friday at 21K
I got 9500 out of first rear(changed it early for 2K trip)
and just about 12K out of second, probably have 1000 miles left.
E3 s each time.....
might try the metzelers next time if I can get some good feedback on them for the vision |

Posts: 8144 New Bohemia, VA | Great question about tires. My rear was changed out at 16k, should have been 14k. The front is pushing 23.7K and should be changed now. I was hoping to get 30k out it to change with the next rear.... Keep in mind the type of riding you do and what type of surface you primarily riding. Those in the snow covered states should get at least 25k on the rear and 35k on the front. Use with mostly blacktype should get what I got, and I believe those concret runners would get a few k less. |
