Posts: 284 mansfield, MA United States | I will have close to 100K on my 2011 this year and my warranty will be up in October. Any word on a new design on the Vision. This is my 2nd Vision and as much as I love the bike its growing old on me. My other bike is a Indian chieftain. i love the chieftain and if they don?t change the Vision my next bike could be a road master. But i would still like to have both a Vic and indian.

I'm shocked too, but in all fairness I rarely ever see any Vics at all. If Vic is going to release new stuff this year, they should start some hype up no later than Jun. Hard to believe they have all kinds of new stuff in development for 16 with no spy photos or stories leaking out yet. Awful quiet..... |

Posts: 169 Iowa | Last year they redesigned and enlarged the factory. This year they bought a new factory down south and all ATVs will be built there. spirit Lake will be for bikes. They also added a new paint shop. I found this out at a meeting with our local rep. She said be ready. Big changes are coming. Then she began asking what the next generation Vision should upgrade. Very interesting stuff. |

Posts: 161 Albuquerque NM | In thinking about it, I wouldn't doubt that the vision will probably be replaced with a bike that has a more conventional look and is designed to compete head to head with the street glide. Think of a cross bike with a fixed fairing. Again I hope they update what many of us believe is the best bike on the road, rather taking a step back to take a swing at a lesser bike. But the company also has to make money on them, and leather clad orthodontists are willing to drop some cash. |

Wouldn't that be something? That would "rock" the motorcycle world. A motorcycle manufacturer selling a motorcycle with a car tire.....

The vision is the best victory bike out there....no wind in the face or buffeting,,,,handles like a sport bike....we have to have a new upgraded version
Probably the best touring bike one can buy...i ride with goldwings etc
Still draws the crowd onlookers like no other bike..
My only wishes are.....LED's/HID's....more rear lights...signal lights in rear view mirrors....increased rear luggage space.....front headlight module should be a simple bolt on module that can be accessed easily for bulb replacement etc....bring back the chrome non round handle bars
Hope we see a new one..... |

Posts: 219 Pittsburgh, PA | There are at least 3 vision running in the North Hills of Pittsburgh that I know of. Arkainzeye just happens to be from the other side of town. The only refinement that I would want is less noise from the speaker covers and trunk and a tighter factory fit of those pieces. I have seen more and more on the used market and if they start going cheap enough, I'll buy another and have one set up as a street and the other as the tour. In fact I just looked at ebay for a new side stand rubber pad and noticed that there are 17 listed for sale. |

Posts: 1632 Jasper, MO | My Goldwing riding buddies have been expecting a new Goldwing for at least 5 years now. Some have been looking for the "new Goldwing" longer than that. Instead, they got a restyle that seems to mimic the Vision's styling cues, and a trunkless "street" version to mimic the Vision Street (the F6B), they are still the same old Goldwing that Honda has been peddling since 2001. And, people still swear they would have nothing but a Goldwing and keep buying the new ones.
These "where is the new Vision" threads amuse me. We already have one of the best touring bikes made anywhere. Honda hasn't significantly updated the Goldwing since 2001. The Vision has only been around since 2008.
Unless somebody does something really radical to improve the Vision, I'm keeping my 2008.

And the roadmaster looks better and better every day. I do a lot of long rides with some over 1000-1100 miles a day. and the Vision eats the miles up. I have been riding a Vision for almost 8 years now with no real changes other then ABS and color. I have about 150000 miles riding a Vision. It would just be nice to not pay $20K for the same bike I have been riding. But then again HD riders have been doing that for a lot longer |

Posts: 33 Pillager, MN | I cornered a guy working the booth at the Minneapolis Motorcycle show this winter and he said, "don't talk to me, I'm a dealer...talk to that guy over there...he's the Vision guy". So I went over and accosted him, telling him that it is time to update the Vision. I agree with most guys in this thread, I LOVE my Vision, but it's time for some "tweaks". I would love to see slightly larger bags (or at least a better opening for loading them), maybe two models with GPS, HID, upgraded stereo, etc. on the "premium" one...stuff like that.
So, anyway...this guy who is supposed to be the Vision guy says to me, "changes to the Vision in 2016". Really, that's what he said. I have no idea if it's true, or what he meant by "changes", but I think there's at least some kind of update coming.
If they do come with some updates, I would seriously consider updating...but I need an excuse to trade. Why would I trade my 2011 (that has lots of stuff that they stripped off in 2012) for a new Vision with less equipment? |

| Personally I'd like to see a single-side swingarm. That'd eliminate any need to make sure the belt is centered on the rear sprocket then I'd like to see sequential tail lights standard as well as a redsign of the saddlebags. Way easier way to change the headlights would be great too. I'd probably go with the grips off the top of the line Indian too...I liked them a lot better than the grips on my Vision.
That said, this is the most comfortable bike I've ever owned.

Fountain Inn, SC United States | Makes sense that upgrades will come in the next model year. My Vic sources say the current body panel dyes are nearing their end-of-life so they either invest $$$ to duplicate them or $$$ to make changes. While they may no longer be considered the Victory flagship, Visions still sell and still stand out in a crowd. And no other Victory handles like them.

Johnny don't just hit & run, especially with such a broad statement. You either need to say that's a guess on your part or provide sources/reasoning for such a statement. Otherwise it has no context or credibility. |

Posts: 324 New Orleans, La, | I would like to see a evolutionary new Vision cause I feel the look is , as the original ad put it, " iconic". A new liguid engine with the architecture of the Scout but size and cylinder angle the sane as the current model. That alone would igive the Vision better performance and ensure it would meet future polution reqs.. Second a decrease in the number of body panels and a change from screw and bolt mount to push peg and grommet mount. Lastly upgradged electronics ie comprehensive info system, single sided swing arm, and a redesign of the headlight allowing for easier access of the bulbs. I think those changes alone would bring the Vision to the head of the touring class. Like I said evolutionary no need for revolutionary changes. |

| SkooterRob - 2015-04-16 9:13 PM ABS and cruise control are now options on the F6B Cruise control is on the 2015 models, but I don't think ABS has made it to the US F6B's. Test rode a F6B. It is very nimble and torquey, much better low-end power and low speed maneuverability than the Vision. Rider's leg room is limited but rider's seating position is much better than the GW. Vision looks like it has more ground clearance. Each bike has its trade-offs. |

Posts: 60 Racine, WI United States | I get a kick out of all the speculation about the new Vision. On a couple of the facebook Victory pages, one guy has said that he has seen the spy photos of the 2016 Vision, was called out to link the pictures, but, of course, the guy was full of sh_t. Victory is very tight lipped about anything new that they make. Nobody knows what the Vision will look like, but, let's hope it is a knockout for those who want changes to it. Me, wouldn't mind seeing some changes, but if not, hell, it's hard to improve the best bike made. But, if no major change in design, as some on the fb pages have said, maybe doing a Vision with a hot rod theme, aka, a Vision Magnum. I think with the right design, a three tone paint on one would be awesome. But, we'll just have to wait till Sept. to find out. |

This is what's led me to be at the point of pulling the trigger on the new HD CVO Road Glide. I love my 09, and don't want a new Vision because I hate the standard handlebars, and nothing has changed in the fit and finish. Everything seems like a bolt on afterthought. I think I am going to miss her, but I think the Vision will not change for a while. Although, this year would be good to stay in competition with the changes to the RoadGlide. |

If that's the only upgrade you want, that is easy. Lloydz cams, Lloydz top filter, and a fuel controller are all you need to gain 30 horsepower. The power is already designed into the motor, but the EPA tune keeps it locked up. Just unlock it.

Posts: 212 Tavares, Fl | In my opinion the best looking, most comfortable, most dependable bike on the road and guys are complaining they want change. More power, contact LLOYDS, more storage, either learn to pack or get a luggage rack or even a cargo trailer, bigger windshield there are plenty aftermarket companies making them But if you really want change leave the rest of us alone and go buy a Harley. I'm on my second Vision, first one was an 08 and the is one is a 12. Recently I came back from Portsmouth Ohio. 980 miles thru the mountains and 14 hours straight thru only stopping for fuel, Try to do that on a Harley... I've also done 12 hours thru Alabama to the Barber Museum outside Birmingham twice....The closest bike I've come to the Vision comfort wise is a Yamaha Venture, also a very dependable bike. I sold my 01 Venture in 09 with 138000 miles on it having only replacing the clutch, in the parking lot of the Doubletree hotel in Nashville on a weekend trip... |

| I have a friend in the industry that is in deep with Victory. I was looking at a new X1 Magnum, but told him I was concerned that Victory would bump the motor for 2016 as they have been running the 106 for so long. He told me to wait as it's only a few months, but I will be happy I did. He did not expand on that nor did I probe, I was just happy he told me to wait and read between the lines. Also, vision to get revised for 16 finally. |

| At the Myrtle Beach Rally, I spoke to a Cross Country rider that claimed he came across a picture of the new Vision on facebook. It was a cross country from the neck back with a fixed cross country style fairing. So essentially it's Victory's version of the Road Glide. This would make a lot of sense as this style would be more mainstream and a better seller/competitor to HD. It also simplifies production. I hope it's true because it would be a better bike for Victory, and it would make me love and appreciate my 2011 REAL Vision even more! Guess we will see in a few months. |
