Reserve is $20,000+ over m.s.r.p !!!!

I like the "I will work with the winning bidder in any way I can with shipping and or delivery." statement. For that much money it better be both Pamela Anderson & Heather Locklear delivering the dang thing in person...in the buff
p.s. I really hope the seller isn't anyone around the site

I'll have a lot less than 400 miles on it.
I might even deliver it if close for that amount.
And yes, I'd let her go for that! |

Posts: 266 Stockton, Ca. | I saw that listing a few days ago I can't beleive anyone would be stupid enough to pay double for the bike. For the seller, I hope it doesn't sell. For any interested buyers, Chrome is available to add to any Vision... Buy smart! |

| It says it was removed from ebay because of listing violations. and it says to check my messages for more info, but I have not received anything. The only thing I can think of is that I did not put the complete VIN # |

I noticed that the 10th Anniv has chrome rear fender tips on it. Can we get these for the 08's? |

Posts: 600 Linwood, MI | While I think it's crazy to buy a bike for that much mark-up, considering there's only 100 of them--and they sold out in what, 7 minutes?--you gotta figure there's a possibility of someone willing to pay the money. So, to whomever is posting it (in this case mdhass) I say more power to ya and good luck with. But rest assured that the winning bidder won't be me. |

I agree, I really don't understand why people got so upset over it, especially other 10th Anniversary owners. If it would have sold for that high of a price it would have set a value for these bikes as a collectors item and just made them that much more valuable. |

That's a very valid point, mdhass. I think some of the animosity might come from the fact that they feel someone got a limited edition bike just to turn around and "gouge" more money, thus denying the regular purchase opportunity to some poor schmuck who actually wanted the bike to own and ride.
To give you an example, back in the 90's I wanted to buy a Harley. At the time they were a hot commodity, the new fad. Here where I live you had to get on a waiting list for a 3-5 years to get one, and you had no choice on the color, accessories, etc. Here I really wanted a bike to ride and love but I was stuck waiting for an indefinite period , all the while seeing tons of yuppies in their penny loafers and pink pastel polo shirts who only ride them to the bar on friday night so they could look cool with their Hog sitting out front. And every week I'd see all kinds of For Sale ads in the paper for new HDs that had 100 miles on them, yet were marked up over $1000 above MSRP. I even considered buying one of those For Sale bikes. I went to check it out and the guy had 3 more brand new HDs in his garage. I asked why he was selling when they were so hard to get. He replied that he didn't have any trouble getting them because his buddy was the owner of the local HD dealer. I was absolutely livid. Instead of getting a Harley I went to the Suzuki dealer down the street and bought a Softtail wannabe. |
