Posts: 447 Cleveland, GA | As I was looking through some other posts, I saw a picture that Rollin' posted, showing 29 degrees F. on the display, and I realized that apparently Victory has fixed the early-on issue with the temperature gauge. The early Visions had a design bug where anything under 30 degrees displayed a minus sign instead of the first digit. This morning it was 20 degrees when I rode to work and I watched the numbers roll down after I left my garage: Assumed actual / Indicated 33 / 33 32 / 32 31 / 31 30 / 0 or - 29 / -9 28 / -8 27 / -7 26 / -6 25 / -5 24 / -4 23 / -3 22 / -2 21 / -1 20 / -0 Unfortunately, it didn't get any colder and I didn't get the chance to see how it would do in the teens. My Vision is one of the first 2008s delivered. I received mine in October 2007.

| If you pull your windshield aluminum V trim and with a flashlight look behind the left mirror. You'll see a black wire that is in a slot. Pull it out some how and on the end of it is a electrical thermal end. Put it some place below the gas tank. You now will be 99% correct on the temp. I did mine three years ago and zip tied the wire to the overflow tube. Check with smart phone and you'll see how accurate your gauge can be.

Posts: 804 Perry Hall, MD | Been looking at the minus numbers for years and now I'll know what the temperature actually is (at least down to 20). Thanks for the cross-reference. |
