Bike has developed an oil leak. Seems to be coming from the shift indicator senser that is located in front of the drive sproket. anyone else leaking oil?

That's probably a feature.

Remember, they surveyed BMW, GoldWing and H-D folks for input on building the Vision. This must be the H-D inspired feature...

Sorry... all in fun... I just really really couldn't resist..

O-ring was cut during assembly at factory. Body panel and exhaust removal to get at it. 3hours. Should be back on the road tomorrow. I think this is a 1 in 1000 problem. lucky me!

I have a light oil leak like a spray behind the back jug some place near the exhaust port. Anyone else?

You sure it isn't an exhaust leak? Escaping exhaust gases can leave a mark that might look like a dirty oil mark, just dry.

Sounds like you may be running the wrong brand of oil.

If you are seeing a dark color around the exhaust port it should be an exhaust leak. The only oil area close is the cam chain tensioner cover. You would see oil around it if it was the source. If its a spray of oil, look for a pressurized source. This type of leak will spray at idle while the bike just sits.
