| My 08 vision doesn't have a tip over sensor. They didn't put them in till 2010. Funny other bikes have had them for some time. Guess Vic didn't think of them. So I can get one off ebay cheap and was wondering what wire to splice it into. I was think the kill switch wire. Then was wondering where to put it. They have stamped "up" on the side of it. Any ideas would be helpful |

| ? My 2009 Vision has the tip over sensor to shut the engine off and it works. I have to run the key off to reset once she is back up. Are you talking about something else?
Didn't think Visions would fall over with a car tire? |

| yes bike still tips over with car tire on it.
Redrider you must have a late model 09 cause looking up parts on Vic it doesn't show one. By any chance do you know where its mounted? |

Posts: 1290 Ruskin, Fl | It won't shut off if you drop it on the tip overs. It has to go all the way over, at least my 13 does. I was back up to a curb stop in a gravel parking lot and my passenger didn't warn me they were getting on. Foot slipped and the bike cantilevered on the tailpipe and over it went all the way Put a little dent in my tailpipe and scratched my faring around the mirror and shut off.

I was planning on running the wall of death, and don't need it shutting off on me... Think about the signal. The only thing the tipover sensor knows is the forces acting on it. On a wall of death type ride the centripetal forces acting on the bike and you makes the bike think it is more or less vertical so no actuation. You wouild come closer to actuation by knee dragging where the bike would not be properly balanced through its center of gravity but would feel a force that said it was tilted toward the outside of the curve. |
