Posts: 639 Tri Cities, WA | Hey all, I'm new here. I went out yesterday and test ride the vision. I love the bike. So I walked away to make sure this was not an impulse buy and today I wnet back and fille dout all the paper work. Looks like mi may be picking my new Black premuim Vision. The dealer really tricked this beauty out with chrome and of coruse I added more like a stage 1 exhaust with gattling tips and more chrome, saddle bags, etc. So im like a kid waiting for x-mas and Im 44 as of tomorrow (SUN). Thats kinda why i wanted it as a gift to myself for making it this far in life LOLOL. If all goes well I will be trading in my 06 Vulcan Nomad 1600. Which i have about $3300 in accessroies on her and she is nice. So the dealer loved this deal since he knows he can trun my ride quickly. Well I'm done rambling good to me you all and I'm from WA state.. |

Posts: 203 Rapid City, SD | Happy early Birthday and congrats on the Vision if you pull the trigger. My Vision is on a truck somewhere. I ordered a anniversary model and I am impatiently waiting. I keep doing drive bys at the dealership hoping to see a new crate outside. |

Posts: 203 Rapid City, SD | I saw the two they had on display during Sturgis bike week. At that time I didn't know I was picked to receive one. Yes they are pretty impressive. Tons of chrome and that red metal flake paint is killer in the sun.
I was told it shipped on the 16th but they don't know anything beyond that. They said they had an e-mail but all it said was "expect it soon". Soon Today or Soon Next Week or Soon October 31st?
Sorry for highjacking your post NW Rider. I have no plans on heading up to WA state but if you ever are in the Sturgis SD area I'll be happy to show you some of the great rides we have here. |

Posts: 25 Gilbert, AZ | I replaced my 01 Nomad Fi with a Vision last May and have never looked back. You will absolutely love the bike. I just completed a 2200 mile road trip through Arizona, New Mexico and Colorado and only have praises for my Vision. Never had "monkey butt" like the othe 5 guys did that I rode with, and averaged over 50 MPG the entire trip. The heated seat and grips came in handy on the cool Colorado mornings, and the fairing protection is second to none when it comes to rainy weather. The only problem I had during the entire trip was having to hang out at the Harley dealership waiting to have my brother in laws 07 Ultra Classic repaired since it broke down along side the road...
Enjoy your new ride....

Posts: 55 Las Vegas, NV | Congrats! I'm also a new Vision rider. I bought mine for my 40th birthday! I'm also a Washington State resident temporarily displaced to Las Vegas. All I can say is you made the right choice. I love my bike and so does most everybody else (except the angry Harley types that are shocked by how good the Vic is). |

Posts: 261 Sugar Land, TX (Outside of Houston) | You know of course now starts the REAL Bling expansion. Unfortunately while sitting out the hurricane and this week after, I had free time and found myself ordering this and that for the Vision. Just got finished installing the Highway Peg Mounts and now have to find the right set of pegs for it (That goes with the style of the bike). I have some 44 Magnum Shell Highway Pegs - but they might not look good on it.
Anyone have pegs installed they just love?
Also have a Stage 1 set on order, a Refurbished Garmin 2720 from Ebay, and a Saddleman Bag (like in the Catalog) but half the cost on it's way. I gotta get off the Inetrnet or get a second job

Posts: 639 Tri Cities, WA | The vision I'm looking at right now has all the stock grey stuff pulled and already replaced with chrome. I also added in the deal saddle bags, rug for rear trunk, More chrome for the trunck, mirrors, brack/clutch res tops, Stage 1 level 1, it even had gattlin tips on it already and few other things i cant remember right off hand.. I wanted the level2 exahust but they said the gattlin tips dont fit on the level2 which kinda bummed me out but thats all good. Damn dealer is still closed till tomorrow. :-) |
