Posts: 374 Tucson, AZ | Well, after talking with aftermarket manufactures in search for different grips i ended up buying the cramp buster. I was hesitant at first...I had Kuryakyns on my Harley with the throttle boss, and was looking for something similar, but no go. So anyhow for 10 bucks i didnt expect much and boy was i surprised. This thing works very well, is adjustable in position, and has increased the comfort level a bunch. My main concern about using it was the wearing of the grip, but it comes with a rubber sleeve that goes on the grip first then the cramp buster. So until someone comes out with a wider heated grip i will use this....

I have had people ask me how i survive. I just point to the motorcycle. |

Anywho; I've been riding with the Crampbuster for 2 days now. It really does work well. Being another, former Kuryaken Throttle Boss owner, I was thinking that this POS will do the job but I'll probably cut it down. It is huge on the hand grip. after about 800mi with some traffic and lots of twisties, I've decided I'm just going to let it be. I accidently nailed the placement first time and haven't tweaked it since. I don't recommend it to anyone really worried about how it will look hanging off the grip but I still recommend it to all who could use some ease of the throttle. When I get back home from my road trip in a couple weeks, I'll spec the stock grips and see if I can find a heated direct replacement grip. The bigger the better. |

My 3 all cycle together, right along with the 3 gals from the office. That would be a good name for the Vision, "The Cramp Buster", or maybe "Full Moon Tour Premium."

An elder friend (who passed away in 2000) had five daughters with his lovely bride. On the CB his handle was "Harem Leader". I am sure you know how he felt. |

| Kuryakyn makes a very small throttle boss that can be easily strapped on and off (same thing as the cramp buster only with a flexible strap type mount) which I really like. The Kury version is small enough that I can mount it in the center of the grip to fit my palm. This said a good pair of gloves will prevent hand slippage and reduce the need to grip so tight that you get cramps. I ride a lot with my thumbs over the top of the grips which also helps. |
