Posts: 29 Hendersonville, TN | Hey guys,
I purchased a 2009 Vision Tour Premium a couple of weeks ago after thoroughly checking out all the other touring bikes; I rented the Gold Wing, Ultra Classic, and rode a BMW...then finally rode the Vision, after a couple of months of soul searching I kept coming back to the Vision and decided I had to have one in addition to the Big Dog K9 I already have...after 1500 miles I really am pleased with my decision, this bike really has the "fun factor"...
Thanks,
Bill |

Posts: 506 Woodland Hills, CA | Congratulations. I came off a Road King, which I still own, but keep wondering why. Like you, I tried all but the BMW, and really liked the Vision, and haven't regreted a single minute of ownership. Overall, tts the best and most fun bike I have ever owned (given my style of riding).
In any case, ride safe and enjoy! |

Posts: 29 Hendersonville, TN | Thanks! All four bikes had their advantages & disadvantages...the Gold Wing had great power with that six cylinder engine with reverse, the BMW was by far the smoothest bike I've ever ridden, but it had a zero "fun factor", and of course the Harley's look great and are fun to ride, but not much power and the heat from the 96" engine was killing me...I've already ordered reverse for the Vision, should be in at the end of October...I hope the dealer knows how to install it... |

Congrats Bill! I did the same thing you did. I test road the heck out of a lot of bikes. I rode a street glide, ultra classic, screaming eagle UC, GW and the Vision. I never really like the BMW so I just stayed away as I didn't hear much about them unless it was a die hard.
I put 2200 miles on my bike in three weeks. 800 of it in one day and let me tell you...FUN FACTOR is right!
Have fun and drop us the stories!

Posts: 55 Las Vegas, NV | Congrats! I'm a new Vision owner also. I have just put a few hundred on it, but that's not bad for less than 2 weeks. I rode the same bikes you did, plus the Triumph Rocket. Almost went for the Rocket, but for day to day riding and touring, nothing beats the Vic. |
