It did not seem to like it at all. But it had no choice, it didn't start. Turned over, but no go. Rode it Thursday and the RPMs were riding high and sometimes like an analog wave, up and down. Saw the battery light when it started. Then on Friday, it would not start. I trailered it to Cozzy's this morning. Good folks up here in Marquette, one lent me a van, another lent me a trailer. So I'm stuck in the UP without my bike. At least I've got my boat, I'll spend some time on Lake Superior.

Sorry to here that. Keep us updated on the what the problem was. Mine wouldn't run right after the first week. Engine light, stalling, backfire, ect. Than the ECM went into "limp home mode". Turned out to be the MAP sensor. Dealer had me back on the rode in an hour or two.

Sure hope this is not the loose cable on the battery issue again or possibly a bad or loose ground connection. Do keep us informed.

Cozzy called me late this afternoon. My bike is ready for the road. I should have waited for it, oh well. His brief description was that the problem was caused by a circuit breaker. My attempt to start the bike caused the positive battery terminal to melt. hope to get more detail when I pick up the bike.

I didn't even know there was a dealer up in Dah UP. I'll have to take a trip up there sometime. Have the leaves started to turn yet, UPn8iv? Good time for a color tour?

Was the problem with the loosening of the terminal nut on the circuit breaker which is the subject of the current recall?

Got my bike back today. Yes the problem was with a loose connection to the circuit breaker. When I tried to nail them down to saying it was related to the recall, the mechanic did not know of a recall. Per the information I read on the recall, there is a total loss of electric power. I had full charge and power to all systems. The engine would turn over, but not start. I did not attempt to run the starter very long, but the positive battery post melted. Once that happened I lost all power.

No the leaves aren't turned yet, a few are but still pretty green in the woods.
