Posts: 1290 Ruskin, Fl | Anybody running more than 4 degree advance? I was going to try a little more while the bike is apart. Just curious on people's success.

Posts: 1365 Central Maryland | Just another little tidbit of info regarding the timing wheel from Lloydz.... Specifically the replacement gasket. I've had the cam cover off three times now and have been able to reuse the gasket with no leakage issues. |

Posts: 103 Davenport, IA | When I installed timing wheel, I set it to +4 degrees, pinged like crazy, then set it to +2 degrees and seems happy with this setting. |

Posts: 1365 Central Maryland | I just reinstalled my Lloydz timing wheel yesterday; after getting my bike back from the dealer to have the front drive sprocket seal replaced (had removed it and installed OEM timing wheel so preclude any warranty concerns but still got shafted with the repair bill anyway by them).
I have it set to +4 degrees at the moment; previously had reset it to +2 degrees, because "I thought" I heard some pinging at +4 as well....
I'll take it out this morning and cross my fingers. Maybe the pinging is actually the tinnitus that plagues me daily...
