MUKWONAGO, WI United States | OK, everything was a breeze until I went to pull the trunk off. OMG, I about wrenched my back out. Unless the trunk latch levers move more than the simple "click" upward to disengage the mounting bracket, I had everything right but that sucker wasn't budging. This is a brand new bike and I'm wondering if it's tough like this for most all first timers?? I gave up and connected everything back to original.
Any idea's? |

Posts: 2027 Brighton, TN | Well, did u get it? Careful what u post and where you post on the inner web, you never know where you'll be and won't know how you got there. Cause if your a dude you didn't ask questions. Maybe that's the problem with us bikers, we like the freedom of the open road, no technology, no maps, just ride and see where you wind up. Seems that may be how ole Jim came to join us here. He was just rolling along the ole information superhighway and decided to just pull in and have a chat. Well, come on in Jim, I don't have a CCT but I know a lot of films do and they would be willing to lend a hand. Others maybe not. If you got a Vision, I probably got answers. Welcome aboard! |

| First, make sure the anti-theft bolts are backed out if installed. Second, lift the locking levers as far as they will go. Disconnect the harness and make sure it's free of the saddle bag guard before you life the trunk. The trunk installs and removes with a bit of a snap. The first time was the extent of the learning curve. It's really simple once you're familiar with it. |

Thanks, that's the info I was looking for. The dealer never mentioned having to remove anti-theft bolts first. |
