Heck maybe the quality of the black paint is better.. |

Posts: 691 Manchester, CT | Well....the writing has been on the wall in regards to the Vision. Who said there are no changes...the one is one less color option. So there is always a positive side to everything...no one is bummed out that bought a 2012, 13 or 14 and is kicking themselves in the butt because the 2015 had changes. Yeah, I'm a half glass full kind of person.
Steve Mennetto although didn't really mislead us with increased displacement, larger bags and LEDs, he did when it comes to an integrated electronics system. Its hard to say that 6 speakers in a CC isn't anything to brag about or as he stated, make the competition stand up and take notice. |

| Bye bye Boardwalk and Judge. Three new bikes, three strikeouts. Boardwalk, Judge, and Hardball. And the Vision paint options are pathetic. Hey I have a great idea, lets have a paint option on the 2015 Vision that looks just the same as 2011. The Vision is getting treated like the Kingpin did. Oh buy the way, more Kingpins at the AVR last year than the three strikeouts I just mentioned. |

Posts: 8144 New Bohemia, VA | I'd like to take the road master for a spin just to see if it is anything close to the way the Vision rides. No disappointment on my part as far as Victory line up goes. I won't give any hand-writing on the wall, while it turns a profit, Victory has never carried Polaris to any great heights. Polaris is known for it's great product, and Victory is just one of them. With the Indian name and a direct poke in the eye of H-D, you know where the aggressive effort will go. Victory will continue on as an alternative, but with competitive pricing like it is, would I rather have an Indian at $26,999 with bells and whistles, or <yawn> a Cross Country with some cool features and big bags. I'm not talking personally, I'm talking market, facts are facts. |

| Like every year for the past 15 people only find fault with what corporate does. Surprising they even keep selling bikes.
I never expected the Vision to be a big seller. XC took over and it's appears the Roadmaster will take over for it.
As long as I enjoy what I have and there are still choices when I need to move on, it's all good. Who knows, my next ride maybe a Slingshot??? |

Posts: 8144 New Bohemia, VA | Polaris is a very smart and well run business. Victory is just part of that business. I like Polaris, they have strong products and refreshingly American. Indian has become their feather in their cap. My loyality remains with Victory, with what Indian is doing, I don't think many Vic riders will feel the same. Victory will need to reinvent themselves to stay on the game. The Roadmaster is a clear shot at a gamut of bikes, Victory just bring one of them. The magnum however is a shift of target demographics on touring models, be watching where it goes.

They are intentional in there slow but progressive pace of business. Methodical , smart , with direction . We don't know what their next move is but they do. |

Posts: 2300 Georgia, west of Atlanta | I'm sure Victory will soldier on and there are probably bigger things down the road....I'm glad to see the Vision is still around for another year. After all the R&D on the Indian side I wasn't expecting much product developement for Victory this year. I was hoping for a 110 to 114 inch engine just to have big bragging rights, but no big deal, the engine we have now stomps harleys and indians and with a little help from lloyds products can stomp a goldwing. In the future an upgrade to lighting and instrumentation would be nice.
I liked the way the XR classic looked but I've only seen one on the road and I wouldn't even consider buying one unless I won the lottery, just to have a victory collection. I understand why it was dropped if it dosen't sell. If I understand right, it didn't have a radio? If that's true it had a limited potential buyer because bagger and touring guys want music and cruise control these days. |

Posts: 2300 Georgia, west of Atlanta | The new Magnum will probably be a good seller, the young guys these days love that big front wheeel and slammed rear look. It would have been a perfect platform for that upgraded 110-114 inch engine. Kinda like a "screamin eagle" selling point. Maybe call it a Liberty Engine...........

Posts: 154 Danbury, Connecticut | The Magnum is $1000 more than a Vision, same as a CC tour- for a nice stereo and a big wheel, you gotta be joking. And riddle me this Batman, under special offers I can get a $500 rebate on a 14 Vision and a $2000 rebate on a 2014 CrossCountry Tour- does that make sense to anybody here....anyone? Someone here did say there is something significant coming next month according to his daughter who works for Polaris so maybe there is something worthwhile on the horizon.

Posts: 154 Danbury, Connecticut | I hadn't really paid much attention to the slingshot but just now google searched it and watched a promo video. That sucker looks like it would be a blast to drive. Looks like it would be a lot more stable than the Can-Am Spyder. The price of the Slingshot would probably only be the entry point for me, by the time you factor in modifications, traffic tickets and the resulting insurance escalation, it might be cost prohibitive. |

R&D and innovation is really taking a hit in this economy.

Who knows maybe a scout.
I wouldn't count victory out for the 2015 model year just yet. There still is time, and could through out a surprise, like at Sturgis... maybe... regardless I agree that I'm pleased with victory !

| The Magnum will do well for them. The Cross bikes are where it's at for Vic and they know it. The George Jetson ride like my buddies use to call it when i had my Vision, it's days are numbered. I think it was to radical for the public to ever accept it. It sure is a great riding bike though. |

Posts: 2300 Georgia, west of Atlanta | An updated Vision would be nice, However I'll just keep the ones I have running if they discontinue them. At least there are 2015 models so that's good. I've got to think by now (2015) being the 8th model year there are probably 8-10,000 visions sold. It would be way more popular if they could increase the saddle bag space by even just 20%. |

Posts: 118 Spfld, IL but temp Bay area, CA | The Magnum is pretty cool but I was t least expecting a larger engine this year.
On another note, the Indian Roadmaster looks fantastic.
I will have to ride one soon.
The ride and handling of my Vision will be hard to meet but that is one great looking tourer. |
