 | i want to tint the front turn signal lenses,dont have a shop manual cant get one? i dont want to break something...help.  tom |

 | It is done very easy. lift up on the panel below the windsheild and that big piece pops right off. Do not pull up to far because you have to remove the antenna wire. then if you look there is a couple of bolts 10MM i think that you can remove. there is also a couple of screws down next to the headlight. I do think the easyest way to do it is to take off the whole top side of the farring it will alow easy acess to all the screws for the turn signal lights. |

 | tnx for the help, is there any trick to removing the faring ,are you talking about the part that holds the mirrors or the part undr the big alluminum piece under the window.  tnx, tom |

 | When I took mine apart,  I took the panel below the windshield off, then the wing vents off (two screws each).  Pulled off the side panel that the marker lights are in, then pulled the marker light out of the side panel.  The marker lights bolt from the backside,  I think you could maybe get to two of the bolts while it's in the bike but the other ones not so good. |

 | i am very curious about how this turns out myself. here in PA i would probabaly fail state inspection with that on.  8( They would claim it decreases the light shown from the lens..        They always find a way to spoil your fun.. lol |
