Posts: 1290 Ruskin, Fl | I just ordered CycleOps. They had the cheapest shipping. $5.70.
Every other place was 13 for shipping. I just couldn't pay 70% for shipping.
Any install tips? Happy with it?
I grab a handful of throttle all the time. I'm looking forward to trying this |

Posts: 178 LaGrange, GA | I have one, but I kind of had to. A bunch of years ago I got a 1/4 throttle for a dirt bike, and ever since anything factory feels ridiculous. It's usually my first mod on any bike, within just a few days. I typically just make them out of PVC, but this time got Lloyds because someone got it for me as a gift.
No real install tips, there's nothing to it. There was BARELY enough cable on my bike to get it installed, though. The cables are at max slack and there's essentially no free play.

Tip: loosen the throttle cable adjusters. It will give you a little extra slack making hooking the cables into the ring easier. |

I didn't have a choice - my adjusters had to go to full slack and I still had to do a little finagling to get it slid in place. |

Lloyd offers 2 different 1/4 turn throttle rings. The HR1 will fit '08-current Factory Rubber Grips. The HR2 will fit '99-'07 Factory Grips and '08-current Ness Grips |

Posts: 164 Quad Cities, IL | I have one on my 2008 SSG Vision...I do like it alot. I cheated and had the dealer put it on since I was replacing my worn heated grips last fall. So no install tips from me. But it is a nice addition. |

| I have one on my '08 Vision. I love it. I win the hole shot almost every time. if loosening the cable adjusters at the switch housing won't give you enough cable to work with, you can loosen them at the throttle body too. |

Posts: 6 D/FW, TX | Just installed mine last week and love it! Screwed in both cables all the way in on the throttle body to give plenty of slack. Once installed, you can adjust them back. It was a bit tedious to get to the adjusters with a wrench, but that's the hardest part of the install. Piece o cake. |

North Billerica, MA | I kinda like the factory throttle. It has a nice long roll and that's the way I ride. |
