Posts: 2300 Georgia, west of Atlanta | 1) I don't have to spend money on wheels, brakes and ape hangers: The stock look is good and rides just fine.
2) If I want a 115HP I can get it for around $2000 as opposed to $6000 for my last TC Harley and it only ended up with 108HP.
3) No need for 50 HD T shirts
4) I can set cruise control on 90mph for hours at a time when out west. Harleys won't set past 84mph.
5) When raining or really cold raise the windshield up, best wind & rain protection on any motorcycle.
Hahahahaah........................

I can put miles on it instead of wondering (like my coworkers are) when it will be running again.
I always get my required daily allowance of protein because I'm always riding with a huge smile on my face.

I can ride in cold weather and still be toasty.
The Vision attracts attention with its own personality.
The Vision makes its own sound.

Glendale, AZ United States | * I don't have to tell my wife when I"m finished mowing the lawn, taking out the garbage, putting my golf clubs away, wiping down the ol Bentley, that it's time to put my "bad boy" outlaw biker Halloween costume on and head to the nearest "bad boy" hang out, which is usually about 30 miles round trip at most to kick tires and compare motorcycle paint jobs. It's also important for me to make sure to take plenty of pictures of myself with the other "bad boys" to put on my office desk at work to make sure all my coworkers know I am a legitimate "weekend outlaw bad boy."
*The HD image is for sale at your nearest HD retailer nationwide because it is important to be noticed with an HD Born to ride Tshirt, HD leather jacket, and exposed finger leather gloves, which are all made in China, but who cares not to mention a helmet is not required even though you swallow an occasional "June bug" while riding, which is all part of the course in keeping with the outlaw tradition and looking cool in the process.
*I have a 2008 tricked out "Paul Yaffe Bagger Nation" custom in my particular color choice and mounted impaler swords on the handle bars and tank I purchased new for 60k at the same time I bought my fancy diesel pusher RV toy hauler to tow it to Sturgis every year since then for sale with 3, 750 miles on the odometer in the cycletrader for 30,500 obo.
* "Hey Tommy, you're not using your head man. Why do you want to take the twisties to where we want to go if there is an interstate highway right next to it and we can shave off about 40 minutes of riding time in the process you silly kid."

No such thing as a fair weather Vision rider.
It fell over? No big deal.
Most riders don't want to ride with me because I don't stop often enough.
Doesn't need a battery every year (because it doesn't sit 9 months a year).
My wife is actually comfortable on the back and can sit in the saddle as long or longer than I can.
Ironbutt rides are actually enjoyable .

I decided to do some fishing last night as part of a little experiment and it didn"t take long before before I got a bite and personal insults to boot. I have no "brand" loyalty and ride what you want, how you want, and where you want, but thank you for proving the point I was trying to make. You can insult what I ride all day and I have heard them all by the way being a VV rider from the HD riders while on the road, but I could care less.
With the HD crowd, it's like Im insulting your significant other vs that hunk of steel we all ride. Point made my good man

Posts: 1308 Sand Rock, AL United States | that brings up another point, Vision riders have to be thick skinned.
bonus lifestyle points of difference:
Vision "rider" mentality
HD "owner" mentality |

Glendale, AZ United States | What the heck, I might as well finish strong:
"Honey?" Yes Darling. "When is your HD gonna be ready from the shop?" Well, they are installing the atomic Vladezip muffler bearings and it shouldn't be more then a couple of days. "Wow Honey, that sounds exciting."" I really want to go riding with you soon and am looking forward to seeing what the Vladezip muffler bearings are all about." Why are you so Gung HO about going riding with me all of a sudden? "Well, since you got that problem we're not supposed to talk about and our broken washing machine isn't going to be ready for pickup from Sears for another week!"
I know. Don't quit my day job and all in good fun and no harm done. I figured since the HD folks can dish it out they can take it also and vice versa, but no need for personal insults as far as I'm concerned even though I can take it. |

| Actually bud I have owned 4 Victory's one was a Vision and my wife just purshased a Cross Country even though she is upper management for one of the largest HD dealers in the midwest. I guess i missed the part where i insulted what you ride. It's all good as long as you do ride. |
