Posts: 100 Hudson, Ohio | Just got back from Witchdoctor Billet Specialties and the fender project is better than I expected...two versions of the one piece fender will be made available and on his website. We also figured out a great speaker/amp upgrade option for the Vision. It will be plug and play and the speakers will fit in the stock speaker boxes.....coming soon! Nice job Jon! |

Posts: 100 Hudson, Ohio | Jon just posted the new fender on his website - you should go and check it out.
On a side note and a different forum, there was a question about Victory ever recalling the Vision for the Fender issue...here are my thoughts on the matter and Jon's replacement options.....hope you find it useful:
IMHO - there will never be a recall on the front fender...I just don't believe the volume of Visions and/or complaints will warrant it. Despite most Vision riders do agree this is a safety concern for all. I am just glad that more and more people are aware of the issue. My bike has been the prototype for WitchDoctor to design, create and produce a safe and reliable fender. Although I admit I am no engineer or safety expert, the fender is top notch and the design and the way it attaches to the forks is incredibly improved.
I saw it this past weekend - both the stock and "custom" version that will show off more of your rim and they both are VERY IMPRESSIVE. Nice job Jon! Can't wait to get my beast back and start riding it with the piece of mind that I will never have to worry about another break and jam (which locked up my steering)
As a side note, I personally saw the process Jon went through to develop this product and there is no one more committed to supporting our brand. Yes, he makes a living doing it, but that is the American way and God Bless. He also works TIRELESSLY to offer great products and services to all Victory riders. Thank you Jon for your efforts!! |

Posts: 100 Hudson, Ohio | Here is a side by side comparison of the stock two-piece Victory fender and the new "custom" WitchDoctor ONE-PIECE fender. A few points about the WD fender:
1) One solid piece made of fiberglass and reinforced where it mounts to the forks.
2) Special metal spacers designed and provided to tighten metal to metal - taking the stress/pressure off the fender at the mount.
3) Two versions will be sold stock (looks just like stock) and the custom version shown here.
4) Special mount hardware provided if you have fog/PIAA lights to install.

Posts: 2300 Georgia, west of Atlanta | Fender looks great. I hope the amp can solve my volume problem with the XM portion of the radio on my '13. Ipod and FM are almost loud enough but the XM is terrible in the volume dept............. Strange my '08 dosen't really have this volume problem..........
