| Has anyone adjusted the shift lever on a 2013 Vision? I need to adjust the shift lever up to allow additional room for my riding boots. I would also like to move the shift lever back to decrease the reach. |

After that move you will definitely need to adjust your pedal height. It will be way too high. Adjusting the shifter height is easy but not so easy if you have a heel shifter like I do. You simply loosen the lock nuts on the shift rod and twist it until the pedal is right where you want it, then tighten those lock nuts again. If you have a heel shifter the position needs to let you shift in both directions. Getting that right can be a bit tricky because the heel shifter and toe shifter must each move far enough to get a positive gear engagement. It took me 3 tries after I replaced my shift rod with a fancy decorative one. |
