| Unless there is a new design......scrapes in turns, does not lift the rear tire off the ground. Those were the main complaints . |

That's the factory one. There is another, aftermarket one, that is said to not scrape in turns. It's made by Kingbagger and marketed by some of the aftermarket vendors.

Central Wisconsin | I just mounted a $275 centerstand made by Neal Shelton a little on the pricey side but well made. Neal was good to deal with and is known as "King bagger" ... shelton@rangeweb.net You have to pretty much take the exhaust off to install. Taking the oil filter off would help, I managed to leave the oil filter on account of I changed oil before the centerstand project. First time out this year, the centerstand did not scrap.

Nice looking bike by the way. Like to color lower deflectors. |

Your welcome! I like to use the centerstand for checking the oil, washing the bike, and easier to walk around in the garage during the winter months. Central Wisconsin | Arkainzeye - 2014-03-31 7:45 AM your forks, were they done in ohio? Yes through buywitchdoctors.com from Ohio . I sent the front fork legs to him, cost $220. I'm thinking he jobbed them out. If you decide to have the engraving done. I would suggest to have the word Vision engraved a bit lower on the fork leg.

| I had the Victory factory accessory centerstand. It was great for the first winter I had it because it allowed me to store the Vision standing straight up alongside my wife's Burgman 650 which is on its centerstand. The third time I put the Vision on the centerstand the following spring the stand twisted and the bike nearly fell over. I carefully rode the Vision to my dealer and had them remove it. IMHO the Victory centerstand was a piece of crap, probably why they no longer offer it in the accessory catalog. I now use a Condor wheel chock to store the Vision in an upright position and while you can push it sideways to cause it to lean a little, I have never had a problem with it staying in the chock and upright. I believe that the people who've had issues with chocks like the Condor probably didn't have them adjusted properly for the Vision's front wheel (I learned that from first hand experience!). |
