Posts: 1365 Central Maryland | ...a "bagger" about an hour ago, while I was out and about. I immediately corrected him and informed said subject that; "it's a Tourer, not a bagger" and he then retorted; "all of my friends are down in Daytona" and walked away laughing like a hyena...
WTF?
Must be a Harley drone. There's something WRONG with these people.... |

My thoughts exactly... And since I run without the trunk 99% of the time, I'd think bagger would be accurate.
Whatever... Glad to have the Vision thought of as a bagger since that is where most of the aftermarket is focused!

I am not into nostalgia." |

Posts: 2 Lodi, CA United States | My favorite bartender at my favorite biker bar calls mine a "spaceship." She can call it what ever she wants. When the nostalgic riders tell me "It's not a Harley." I say, "Thank God". And when they ask why I don't ride a Harley, I reply,"because I actually do like to ride." Don't get me wrong, I've ridden most brands of motorcycles and they are all good in their own way. No matter what other people say about your motorcycle, the important thing is how good you feel riding your motorcycle. I feel great on my Vision 8-Ball! |

Yeah, without the tourpack it meets the nowadays descrition of a "a bagger" How ever it's the best one made.......
Not "nowadays" that is how it has been since at least the 70's. This whole "tour" thing is a relatively new term; from the Goldwing/BMW crowd |

Most of the 'old' Vision-Riders have heard this story before. Very shortly after I got my Vision in April, 2008 - I parked among a group of bikes in Horseshoe Bay, BC - across from a bar - that had an outdoor patio. When I came back to the bike, a leather-clad tattooed monster sitting outdoors at the bar YELLED at me: "Hey - is that THING a Motorcycle ??? or a SPACE SHIP ???" .... I yelled back "Thank You !!!" , got on the bike and rode off. That Grunt had given ME the answer: .... My Plate:

All joking aside, I never really see my bike except in a parking lot. The rest of the time I see the controls and the dashboard. |

Posts: 115 Katy, TX United States | I was given the roadname "Rocketman" for several reasons:
1. I use to lead rides a little to fast for some.
2. My 2013 spaceship
3. I actually use to work in the space industry.
As my cousin, a die hard HD rider said, "it only matters what one person thinks, and that is the owner (may the wife too). Can't go anywhare without looks and questions. Now I get even more looks at night with my Joe Florida LED lights. |
