Posts: 1632 Jasper, MO | Probably heard the new Police bikes had 114 and just figured it was cubic inches instead of horsepower.
If they have been treated to some of Lloydz magic, they would have about 114 horsepower. If he is used to Harley Police bikes, he would not expect that, and would naturally figure the number represented cubic inches instead.

the 111 TS is new but the 106 is not. It is due an update. I'm not saying it will be a 114 but I believe this may be the year for a serious motor upgrade. |

Posts: 2300 Georgia, west of Atlanta | He may still have been wrong, BUT he was a member of a demo team and knew something about the purchase contract. I asked if they were gonna be Lloyd's engines and he said "No, they are coming straight from Victory like that" He knew who Lloyd was and the difference. So I guess we'll see in six months if a 114" is offered from Victory. |

Remember when the Crown Vics came with a "special" motor for cops?

| I could believe a 114" and fly by wire throttle and better gages and maybe a brighter LED headlight |

My guess is that Polaris wants to get a little more publicity mileage out of the new 111 before they up the ante (and take the spotlight off of Indian) with a bigger motor for the Victory side. |

I agree with you. Polaris has not made any indications in their ads that Indian comes from the same people that make Victory. So to the typical eye they are competing brands. Let them compete and you win either way. That's actually an incentive to improve the Vic line. Make customers want to choose between Indian and Victory rather than Indian and Harley and you're always making money. |

Glendale, AZ United States | I was at Arizona Victory in Tucson, Arizona where they have a contracts for police issue CC bikes in Arizona, Texas, New Mexico, and Florida off the top of my head. Everything is done in house and this place is a one stop shop. I was told the police issue CC has some performance upgrades through Skunk Motorsports located in Mesa Arizona, but it is the 106 powerplant |
