I've seen a couple out there so it can be done- Ness has a Victory street fighter with one. Problem with the Vic's is the the right side drive-it hides the open side when it's on the kick stand & doesn't look as good-most one sided arms are on the left side with a drive sprocket/disc rotor combo that that lets the whole wheel show off when its parked. It can start getting complicated & expen$ive very fast.

I'd want one for easy rear tire changes. Can't really think of any other good reason for one.
