Lovettsville, VA United States | This is probably a first. We are on our first cross country trip of our retirement. Bought a motorcycle loader for our truck, Mack that is. Miscalculated the clearance between the motorcycle fairing and the nose of the camper. Yep, I crunched the left fairing of our 2012 Vision. I need the left hand panel under the turn signal housing and the speaker grill assembly on the back of the fairing. We will be in the Houston area in 1 to 2 weeks. I need a dealer recommendation in that area. We will be staying at a campground west of Houston. How is Polaris West to work with? We will be going to San Antonio after that. If there is a recommendation in that direction, that would be OK too. We plan to order the parts now to give the dealership time to get them in before we arrive. This won't happen again because we had the Mack modified yesterday and move the loading ramp 8 inches farther forward to provide more clearance. Chalk this one up to "live and learn" - the hard way! |
