Does anyone have a video showing the removal of the cam carriers? I am about 1/16 to 1/8th of an inch away from getting both carriers to slide out. I have the frame split in the rear and pried up just still a little tight.

I could not get the forward carrier out when I did my cams last week. You will have to disassemble it in place. The rear carrier came out with a little work.

If you are talking about an 08. You have to remove the top. Remove the studs. Flip the bottom over. Spin the bottom 180 left to right. Remove from left side.

Nope 2013 vision. I have the frame split in the middle and I need just a little less than an 1/8 inch more to get them out.

In a 13 you don't need to remove them for a cam change. Though I guess you need to clearance them to go with Lloydz "touring" cams. To reove the 1 piece carrier. You start with removing the cam, then rocker shafts, then rockers. Then flip, and spin as described before

Kevin X You Da Man. Took me just a few minutes to get them out.
I'm planning on riding to the AVR this year and you have a few drinks coming your way.

Actually once KevinX gave the info it was easy.

Loosen the two bolts on the back bone and pry it up.
Place a screwdriver through the hole to keep it up.
Remove the valve covers
Remove the bolts for the cam carriers.
Remove the keeper screws for the rocker shafts and pull the shafts and rockers.
Remove the screw that holds the keeper dowel for the cam itself.
Using a magnet while the cam carrier is on its side pull the keeper dowel out.
Once both cam carriers are stripped, the rear cam carrier needs to be flipped upside down and it will come out of the right side of the bike. The front cylinders cam carrier needs to be flipped upside down and spun 180 degrees and it comes out of the left side of the bike.
Reassembly is done in the reverse order.

If you are clearing your cam carriers for the Touring cams Keep in mind that the rear cam and the front cam are completely different.
Make sure you clear the front cam carrier for the front cam and test fit it outside of the bike. The front carrier requires a lot more clearing than the rear one.

I hate having to place a screwdriver through the hole to keep it up!
