I have the cover. It does not scratch the paint. It fits very well in fact. It doesn't have a lining, but it like a nylon material, so it's soft.

Posts: 133 New Castle Delaware | Thanks Dave for the info I have a Kuriyakin that I used on my ultra but it always left hairline swirls on the paint when it was windy. The ultra was black so it showed everything. I'll probably order the vision cover.

bikerdave48, one thing about the Victory Vision cover, it does not pack small. So if you carry it in the bag or trunk it will use up considerable amount of space. If you have luggage rack you can easily carry it there. Have a safe trip to Houston, I'm going to be going north when you here, plan on it being hot........ |

How long you gonna be in Houston and which part? I live in SW Houston and if you will be here awhile, maybe we can do a day trip and hit some Brazoria County roads and go up the Blue Water Highway from Surfside to Galveston. A nice 3 hour plus ride from Sugar Land.

Posts: 133 New Castle Delaware | I am actually going to Spring TX to stay with my sister fro about a week and then head back east.
Yeah maybe we can get together one day that my Sis doesn't have anything planned. I have 920 mi on my vision so I will probably have to do an oil change when I get down there. |

Posts: 261 Sugar Land, TX (Outside of Houston) | Unfortunately, Spring is far North and I am far Southwest. But if you have a day you want to go south towards Galevston, I know some cherry roads out through Brazoria County. Just email me at rmclarty@alltel.net if you have a free day and want to go that way. My work is flexible.

Posts: 79 Austin, Texas | I'm curious how you guys got a 2009 accessories catalogue. The dealer has a copy, you guys have a copy, but when you contact Polaris they deny they are available. Try going to the PurePolaris site and ordering a catalogue. The '09 is not listed and the phone contacts simply tell me it won't be available until it's on the site. What's up with that? I guess you have to know someone to get this. |

Posts: 261 Sugar Land, TX (Outside of Houston) | I went to my Dealer today to look through their 2009 Accessory Catalog. I asked if he had an extra and he said he only had one. Probably should have just stuffed it in the $300.00 worth of Accessories I bought and walked out. They have some very cool items in the 2009 Catalog.
The WEB Site Flash Catalog sucks. The colors are hard to read. But of course, the manual has the same colors (red on black) which sucks as well.
Bought today:
Full Cover
Trunk Liner Bag
RAM Ball Mount for handle bar (for the Cup Holder)
RAM Ball

Posts: 3006 San Antonio, TX | I wish I could force the Exec's at Victory to use the web flash catalog to find five items on a treasure hunt. The interface is the worst on the Internet!
I have tried to browse just the Vision pages and it makes me just sick. How can a company build such a great a bunch of motorcycles and have an interface like this to display their new products.
The web developers that proposed the interface should be fired.....or at a minimum they should be forced to use the interface that they designed.
I hope that everyone going to Iowa this week will mention this stupid interface to every Victory Exec that you meet! Maybe then they will release the Catalog in PDF format.
Sorry for the soap box. |

Posts: 404 San Antonio, TX United States | I happen to have the new "Half" cover offerd for 2009. It is lined with a very fine micro fleece type lining. It packs down enough to put in the hole where the 10 disc CD player would be in the bottom of your trunk. Thats where i keep mine at. |

Posts: 377 O'Neill, Nebraska | Does anyone have the part number for the heel-toe shifter that's coming out for the Vision in '09? It may not be a Polaris part....it might be a Ness item.
Anyway I miss having this option on my bike because it keeps the toes of my left boot looking nice. ;-) |
