Thanks Oldman, for reminding me of my wonderful Dad. I remember when I was a kid. No one wore labels! You had to be "in the know" to realize that a person was wearing an upscale shirt, pants, socks, etc. Then, people started wearing "labels". It cracked my Dad up. He always laughed at people who did free advertising for companies.
To this day, when I buy a vehicle, the first thing I do is remove as much advertising as possible. My new car.....made the dealer remove all the crap with his name one it or no sale. My bikes.....always removed everything. No labels what so ever. People would ask who made my bike all the time. My Vision is the exception. But lately I've been thinking about covering the Victory oval on the fairing.
Still have my Dad's values. Ya want me to advertise for you? Sure..... NOW PAY ME!!
