| Just an FYI, I'm replacing my plugs at 35K and the originals are pretty much worn out. Both center electrodes are worn on an angle and the ground electrodes are thinned out. The gaps are over .040". I guess that's about as long as they'll last :-)

New Bohemia, VA | yeah, I've got about 50,000 out of a set, but they looked pitiful when I finally changed them. I about burned them up in a parade and I had to pull them to reset the gap so the bike would start back up. |

| I checked my gap on my plugs after ten thousand miles and found they were at 0.40 so now check them more often.
By the way when I went to my Vic dealer and ask for some he said he would have to order them. They are a Gold Wing store all so and I said the wing takes the same plug. In a very not polite manner he told me know way that a wing plug would fit. My dealer is four miles from my house. But I ride twenty eight miles to get parts now. |

| Victory says to "inspect" the Vision spark plugs every 5,000 miles, and replace them at 30,000 miles. I would recommend changing them at 20,000 miles. The NGK DCPR6E is a pretty common plug and about $6.00 each. Torque to 12 ft lbs.

| Bought my plugs at the Honda dealer after my Vic dealer said they have to order the plugs in. Changed mine at 35,000 |

Glendale, AZ United States | The plugs are 2.39 at amazon. Advance auto parts also carries them in addition to Auto zone. Forget about the motorcycle places and their 40-50% markup on the plugs as well as most of everything else. I would raid the change jar and replace these every 10K and you should be all set. Spend the 6 bucks and have the peace of mind. Now, where's that sandwich the wife was supposed to make me

Central Illinois | nailer - 2014-01-15 6:25 PM DCPR6E gap is .034 or .85mm According to my owner's manual the specified gap is 0.031" to 0.035". I would shoot for the middle at 0.033 or even toward the narrow 0.031 side a bit to allow for electrode erosion between checks. |

Grand Cane, LA | Get some iridium plugs and be done with it. They are not much more and you just about can't foul them. I run a set of the DCPR8IX which is one range colder since I ride a lot in 100 degree temperatures and have yet had to do anything to them other than check them. |

| A cold spark plug does not care what the out side temp is. Colder plug burns gas at a different burn |

Grand Cane, LA | Hotter air off of hot asphalt also burns at a different rate than cold air. Less oxygen to burn so you need a colder plug to keep from pre-igniting the already warm air and warm fuel. I've ridden a lot of dirt bikes in my day and can tell it makes a difference.

Dallas, Texas | I changed to these Pulstar he1it Spark Plug about 24 months ago, and my power went up and gas mileage improve about 10%. Gap set at .035.
