| Hi everybody,
I own a Vision and live in France so over here our trunk lights are not activated, meaning they do not serve any purpose although I believe there is some pre-wiring. I talked to the mechanics and they said they can make it work for either braking OR cruising, what it is like in the US? Are they working stock from the factory for both braking and cruising, what about turn signals??
Kind regards,
Le Saint |

Posts: 1365 Central Maryland | Trunk lights on the US models are wired for running lights only. I surprised that yours don't even work at all. Some Visioneers over here have re-wired them for brake and/or turn indicators.

| No, there are wires all the way, they are just not connected to anything, it comes as an option for us, extra money to be handed out to the dealer or DIY, was just wondering how it was in the US. Another difference is that on our bikes the central light on the front light unit is also not activated (the round part), the back of it is actually plugged so if you want to onstall a light bulb in there you need to either buy a US front light unit or drill or cut thru the hard plastic which serves as a plug! |

Posts: 255 New Brunswick , Canada | Salut Le Saint , Here in Canada is the same as the US..Trunk light are wired as running light only. But if you do a search on Kuryakin 4710 module , you
will find a lot of info, on this site , how to modified your trunk lights to work as Turn signal and brake lights. Mayby this could work for you in France ..
