| Hey fellow Vision Owners. Someone PM'd me asking for pics of my bike with a 21" rim on it. When I sent the link to the VMC, he wasnt a member so I decided to move my post here so that I can send him the link. Some of you have already seen my bike and I appreciate all the feedback, both positive and negative. For those of you who havent, here she is. I have added quite a few mods to my 2008 Vision since I got it in July 2012. Seems like this will be a constant work in progress. So Far, I've added the following: Street Trim panel, Victory Passenger backrest, Chrome & More Chrome (Access panel, Grills, Swoops, seat fairing), Exhaust Fender Skirts, LEDs, Painted to Color matched the console, speaker grills, rear valence(remaining Aluminum was also color matched, but mounted the chrome instead),21" Spoken Chrome Rim, 16" Chrome rear rim, Graphics by Autotrimdesing.net, Arlen Ness Floorboards, Hideable Highway bars, tinted flip windshield and dragon Bob design dash bag. Upcoming mods Stereo speaker/amp upgrade, chrome clutch/brake reservoir covers, Chrome Rotors, Chrome calipers, and chrome fork lowers. The latest pics are of the wheel install. Hope you enjoy as much as I do.

West Salem, WI United States | I just love the color matched exhaust covers, they look great! Did you chrome the inner fairing piece or replace your original with the chromed one? And, how where the graphics to install? I've got a few swatches from them, trying to decide on colors...

| I actually had the original inner fairing painted to color match. While they were at the paint shop, I caught a great deal on someone selling the chrome pieces here on this site. So I bought the chrome and when I got my color matched originals back, I just put them in storage in my basement (they do look good color matched). The Auto trim design stickers were very easy to put on. Good luck with your mods. Thanks for the feedback. | |

ha, when I'm asked this question by people who know me, I simply tell them that "I rode sportbikes for 20 years, after riding my vision for only 1 day, I realize that I rode sport bikes 20 years too long". The Vision just does it all for me. I'm a big guy (6' and a very muscular 255lbs). As you can imagine, being on a sportbike for too long was very cramped and painful. I rarely road my bikes. As a matter of fact, over the last 10 years, every sport bike of mine that I sold had less than 5K miles on them when I sold them. Now with my Vision, I'm always looking forward to a ride. I no longer get teased about looking so big on a liter bike. I have plenty of leg room, I'm not leaned forward, I have all of the Vision creature comforts and when I ride, I just lose track of time. I've never been happier on a bike than I am on my Vision now. I get the same feeling I think we all used to get when we 1st started riding bikes so many moons ago. I dont like riding in the rain, but I will, hell, I've gone out of state on my bike when the weather forecast warned me of thunderstorms all day, and it felt great. That would never have happened on my sport bike. So all of that to answer your question with a resounding, NO, I dont miss any of them. Now I have a garage closet full of old helmets, racing leathers, and racing boots, lol.

Oh, those are on my list of things to do. It's just that Witchdoctor doesnt sell them anymore, you have to send in yours to have them done. That's definately a winter project. The problem is, I'm still riding my bike. It hasnt gotten too cold to not ride just yet. I believe it's an 8-week turn around and that's just too long for me right now. The chrome lower fork legs I do plan to get from Arizona Victory for $899 unless someone knows where they are cheaper.  | |

I had many of the same thoughts and feelings when I test rode the Vision. I'm 6' 200 lbs and besides a track bike I will never own another uncomfortable bike again.

Of all of the things I have thought about tweaking, the wheel has worked it way to near the top of the list but unsure what all goes into it. Do you have any recap posts?

| The Vision handles fine with the 21" but I will admit, it's not as "flickable" as it was stock. It corners fine, it rides smooth but when it was stock it felt like a 500lb sportbike in my opinion. Now you can feel the weight more than you could before. The only drawback is switchbacks don't feel as natural as they used to. Do I love it with the 21"? Yes I do. Do I miss the stock feel? Absolutely. Would I convert back? I doubt it, I love the look. I hope this helps

| Very sharp! I love the 21 up front! I just priced a custom 21, rotors, chrome on factory calipers and chrome forks, fender kit etc... It is not a cheap prospect. But I really love the look...
I'm sure I am going to do it but I love the mountain riding and that is my biggest concern.
