| Initial response...WOW.
Power: plenty. Smooth, torque everywhere. With the ability to make a lot more, this bike has all the power anyone would need in a touring bike. Stock exhaust was plenty loud.
Handling: As one who has owned a number of sport bikes and done a number of track days, this bike has exceptional handling. So nimble and easy to throw into the turns. Plenty of ground clearance. One of the best features of this bike is it's handling. Brakes plenty strong. ABS worked flawlessly.
Comfort: Bar none the most comfortable bike I've ever sat on. It was in the 40's and I felt virtually no wind. Grips and seat on low. Very, very comfortable. I could sit on this one all day.
Controls: Loved the feature of holding and releasing the turn signal switch for a lane change. Cruise worked well. Radio worked good for stock. Plenty loud. Windshield really knocks the wind off of you.
Fit and finish: nearly perfect. Right side mirror a little fuzzy on highway. Left one wasn't. Not sure why.
Please report on your mirrors.
I really want one now. I left the dealer and went across town and test rode a 2008 and a 2012 BMW R1200RT. Couldn't stop thinking about the Vision. What a bike!

| Lot of guys have had mirror vibrate. Most have found loose bolts. Some have put some foam behind them and problem solved.
Put in a Lloydz timing wheel and the bike for a $160 really comes a live and get twice as smooth.
Have sales men give you a complete tour of the shop ask any tech how long they been working on Vic's. Don't know where your at but the parts dept will not have much of any thing in stock.
Get salesmen to throw in the 500 mile service for free it will save you a good 200 bucks. |

Posts: 215 W'ford Tx | When I got my bike I paid an extra $2000 and it covers everything besides tires and brake pads for 5 years. Was the best thing I did after seeing what the full 30k service would of run me. If you're going to actually put miles on it (I know some people that buy bikes and might do 5k a year on them) see if your dealership has a service like this. I was surprised to see what all it covered. |

Posts: 341 West Salem, WI United States | I've had mine now for a few weeks. It's been cold here in WI so I'm at 315 miles so far and like jimtom says, I say wow everytime I leave the driveway. I was riding a Kingpin which I loved, but this thing is amazing. My wife LOVES riding on this bike, so comfortable.
I'll be adding Lloyds ATS in the spring for sure! |

Posts: 691 Manchester, CT | if you think the stock vision is something. wait until you do cams, air stack, upper filter, timing wheel, spacer, exhaust, power commander and have it Dino tuned...gobs of power and torque. it turns the vision into a beast. dropping the bike an inch also improves handling but you sacrifice some lean angle. |

Posts: 49 Madison/Huntsville, AL | 738drvr - 2013-12-04 8:31 PM Shopping... Go for it. I've test ridden Visions several times over the years. Always wanted one, but couldn't justify it. I like my Vegas. But, things change. About 3 months ago I started getting wound up for something more comfortable and with bags. One day I saw an advertisement for an extraordinary price on a '13 model. I called them up and said I'd take it. a) I didn't think to test ride it b) Literally 2 days after I brought it home it occurred to me, I didn't test ride anything else out there either. It didn't concern me. It made me laugh. I've always loved the Vision. The handling is amazing. Not amazing for a big touring bike. Just amazing period. |
