Posts: 8144 New Bohemia, VA | I needed a new air shock pump so I went to my trusty Victory dealer. $69 and out of stock. So I go across the street to the Harley dealer. $49 and plenty in stock. Guess what I did?

Posts: 573 Central Illinois | The air shock pump that I bought for my HD works just fine for my Vision but it has neither brand name on it.

Posts: 8144 New Bohemia, VA | Hey, JV, you're probably right, but I like the little pump having tried others. I'm sure there is the magical pump for $2. I've thrown away about 3 small pumps that were not specific shock pumps but could fit in the saddle bag. I bought the Victory pump the first time and it lasted a very long time. I tried to do "maintenance" on it and it never worked after that.
The thing that gets me that Victory sells these for $70. |

In 2011 I used part of my $1,000 in free accessories towards its purchase. ($50 back then)
If I had to fork over actual cash, the quote Turk has above would be the direction I'd choose. |
