| I'm getting ready to install one of Lloydz Top Filter's, along with other goodies, in my 2013 Vision. I should have my parts here on Monday & I'm just getting a jump a couple days early.
Anyway, I talked with a tuner in California a couple weeks ago & he said he typically removes the rubber baffles from inside the frames of Vision's that he sets up and tunes. Anyone else do this? I've taken the top plate off & took the baffle out, but before I get my parts and install them, I wanted to see what others do. Once the top filter is installed is there even a need to remove this baffle? |

Central Illinois | Lots of folks pull that rubber strip. It gives a bit more air flow but at the expense of being noisy. |

| Hi Oldman, on the Vision it's not a rubber strip like they have on the Cross bikes. There are two rubber cone baffles inside the frame on Vision's. One is accessed from under the top plate and the other is directly behind the front filter. |

| in 2010 they put a air directional rubber above the throttle body's to force more air into the throttle body's and cut down on air noise.

| On my 2011, there are TWO rubber/plastic air restrictors, one accessible from the front as pictured above, and one accessible (so I'm told) from the throttle body access plate. The front one seems to allow about 4 times more air flow than the one accessible in front of the TB's. The latter has a single hole in it's center, and there doesn't appear to be any funnel affect to it. Next time I have occasion to pull the console, I'm going to see how difficult it is to pull that rear plug out.

Yes the rear baffle is accessed through the top plate & is super easy to remove. It just pulls right out with very little effort. Might take a whole 15 seconds once you have the top plate off. |

Anyone running without the rear baffle, and the stock cover plate instead of a filter?

The 08s with the front baffle removed, and no re baffle to start with. Benefited from having a top filter. Just need more air then available through the front filter |
