Subject: radio issue $$$$$$$$$

Phenix City AL.		when my radio turns on instead of my regular screen I get $$$$$$$ it does it in all positions, I pod, Radio. XM. it seams to work but I dont get any music or channel info just $$$$$$$, is this victorys way of telling me I need to spend $$$$ or I am going to lose my radio?

Taylorsville, KY		Never seen that; but have you tried going into the radio set up menu to see if the display changes?

W'ford Tx		gotta give them credit for trying to have a sense of humor about your misfortune. Maybe contact the dealer, the radios can be flashed just like our ECMs so maybe a reflash to and updated software version might work.

Taylorsville, KY		With bike off, turn ignition to acc and turn off the radio. Turn ignition off, then back to acc. Press and hold 1 and mode and turn radio on.....this should get you into the set up menu. To exit menu turn the ignition back off....this may reset your display to normal....might want to scroll through the menu while you're in there to check for an error code.

Gainesville Fl Home of the Gators		If reset does not work. The company that does the radio has a reasonable rebuild program for them

EDIT:......or you could get a Anti Freeze Green XC

So Cal		Needs a radio. Mine did that 2 years ago. 2008. warranty covered it. Johns radio makes them. At that time exchange was $175 + handling. Looked into it just in case warr. didn't cover it.
