| Mine (2008) had to be replaced after 4 years and 40,000 miles. It leaked air and if I filled it, it would be lucky to last a day.
It was replaced under extended warrenty and $50. |

| all shocks are different. Some good and some not so.
Put air in it and check air maybe once a month. If you don't bottom out with the correct air in it then its working |

Yes it is very subjective. However, I asked how long your shock lasted....getting an average from everybody to get a ball park prediction. |

Posts: 494 Akron Ohio area | The air shocks can be fatally compromised by using compressed air.
The inrush of air under pressure is too much for the small capacity of the shock to handle.
A blown seal is the result.
The other negative thing about compressed air is that it induces water into the system.
A hand pump is the only thing you should use on the Victory rear shock. |

| 35k on mine and still works fine. I hand pump it only. I ride 2 up about 50% of the time. |

I keep it set at 60 PSI using the Victory hand pump which is overpriced but I got if for free. |
