2012. 13,000 miles. It's gotten to where the clutch doesn't engage until the very end of the travel of the clutch handle. I'm talking the last little bit before the clutch is all the way out. I know it has changed since I bought the bike new. It's just too far out and I don't like it. Put it in the shop for a tire and asked them to look at it. Am being told that it's completely normal and there's nothing you can do with it. Anybody else?

I would start with checking the hydraulic fluid in the resevoir at the lever, it's pretty easy to replace fluid & bleed the clutch, then work your way down and confirm everything's tight & right.

My 2013's clutch does engage a lot farther out that any other bike I've owned... I also had to have the clutch replaced before 3k miles under warranty.

Yes, I've had clutch problems but unsure if it was a fluke just yet.

like he said check fluid. Check to see the arm is going all the way in. Even bleed it.
ask dealer if you can ride another vision and compair
as you know from reading your owners book its only break fluid in there and you can get that at auto store

yeah, the fluid was the first thing I checked. I just hate the "that's the way it's supposed to be" answer when I know it's changed. Thanks, guys.

Mine is same way and am thinking was like that when new. 27K miles later, still same. As long as clutch is not slipping, I'm good with it. I'm used to it working this way.

The Vision's hydraulic clutch is NOT adjustable.
I have a 2011 Tour and the clutch's friction point is near the fully released point.
Looking straight down at the clutch handle, the friction point (to engage the clutch) starts when about 1/16 to 1/8 inch of the circular metal insert starts showing.

This makes quick shifting easier and faster.
Do you really want to have to pull the clutch handle all the way in towards the grip before releasing the clutch?
