Posts: 29 Norman, OK | Just picked up an '09 Vision Tour. Rode it home (to Norman, OK) from Minneapolis yesterday in the heat. all good - nary a hiccup.
open to all advice -
1) planning on doing the Lloydz ATS gizmo,
2)need to figure out how to get my Droid to work with the IPhone pigtail.
otherwise all good -

another question: ideal tire pressure? On my Honda ST1300 everyone runs 42/42, which is higher than the owner's manual recommends...
also, I found a shop manual online from Ebay in CD ROM form for $17 or so... anyone know if that's legit?
thanks again |

If you have the Dunlop E3s, I've found that 40F/42R works best. If you have the Bridgestone Excedras, 38F/40R works better. 40F in the Bridgestone makes the bike too twitchy. The book calls for 38F/40R.

If you haven't check the inside bolts on the front fender. But the Lloydz timing wheel takes about twenty minuets to install. Ge there re usable gasket and hold on. Better power and you do pick up some mileage wix oil filter any aoto store $6.99 p/n 51365

Get the new reusable gasket at the same time since you may need to adjust that wheel away from the preset value of 4 degrees. Every bike is different in respect of the best timing advance. I am in the process of getting a new timing wheel so I have no experience with it yet. |
