Fellow Riders

I received my new saddle from RCP today. After the installation I went out for a short ride..couple hours. Immediately after placing my lack of butt into the saddle I could tell a HUGE difference in comfort vs the OEM. Usually after about 30 minutes into the ride, my butt starts getting sore. Tonight, no problem what so ever. The lumbar and back support as well as the front of the saddle fit like a glove!

I am doing a breast cancer ride this weekend with my wife. I will report back on her passenger experience. I will also provide an update on a longer ride that I will be taking this Friday.

Fit and finish is exceptional. it fits the frame and the front panel better than the OEM. I will post pictures.

You will enjoy that seat. I had a RCP seat on my 2003 Honda ST1300 that I traded in on the VV in July. It was a great seat. So far I don't see a need on the VV for a seat change.

How is it in the tail bone area? And though I hate to ask since its none of my business, can you give me a ball park cost?

Hey Rick..not sure what you mean by the tall bone area. Cost which includes recovering the passenger backrest area, embroidery and shipping came in around $940. I am an absolute believer in spending the money and getting what you paid for. RPC exceeded my expectations. Just spectacular craftsman ship and comfort

Hey Tom,
How is the reach to the ground? I've had a bunch of Russell seats and they've all, except for the last one on my GS, been great. I even had one on a Harley. You should have seen the looks I got :-) The Harley crowd hated it not that I gave a damn!

Have a Russell on my TC and it is fabulous.
I haven't felt the need for one on the VV but would be interested in seeing some pictures.

I posted the pictures up on my site in order to avoid size limitations. There pictures of the seat as well as JB Hatch's Passenger Highway Pegs on my bike which has reverse installed.
